Honoring the Backbone of the Culture
"The most disrespected person in America is the Black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the Black woman. The most neglected person in America is the Black woman.” - Malcolm X

Black women have carried entire movements on their shoulders while the world looked the other way.
Through every crisis, Black women show up. They organize communities. They protect families. They lead change when no one else will. From voting rights to civil rights, they’ve pushed progress forward. They’ve done this work without recognition. They’ve done this work without rest.
Look at the numbers. Black women vote at higher rates than any other group. They start businesses faster than anyone else. They hold down multiple jobs to support their families. These are not small things. These are acts of strength repeated every single day.
Black women create culture: music, fashion, language, art. The world copies what they build. The world profits from what they create. Yet they face more obstacles than any other group. Lower pay. Less opportunity. More discrimination. Still, they rise.
Right now, the political climate tries to silence them. Social forces try to erase them. But Black women keep standing. They keep speaking. They keep building better futures for all of us. They’ve done this for generations. They’ll keep doing this.
We owe them more than words. We owe them action. We owe them support that matches their contributions.
Appreciate the Black women in your life today. Listen to them. Amplify their voices. Support their work. Stand with them when times get hard. They’ve been doing this for us forever. Now we do this for them.
