Dear Diary,
The Game Clock
In the heart-pounding crescendo of March Madness, two titanic forces emerged triumphant from the fray. In the swirling chaos of the women's tournament, the South Carolina Gamecocks emerged victorious, clawing their way to the championship with a gritty win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in a showdown that left spectators on the edge of their seats.
But it was not just any victory; it was a triumph of sheer will and determination, a testament to the unyielding spirit of a team driven by a hunger for greatness. Led by the indomitable Kamilla Cardoso, the Gamecocks stormed the court with a ferocity unmatched by their opponents, leaving no doubt as to their rightful place in the annals of college basketball history.
And as the final buzzer sounded, it was South Carolina who stood tall, their victory a resounding declaration of their dominance in the world of women's college basketball.
Meanwhile, in the men's championship, the UCONN Huskies emerged victorious, their victory a dazzling display of skill and tenacity. Despite facing fierce opposition from the Purdue Boilermakers, led by the towering Zach Edey, the Huskies held their ground, refusing to back down in the face of adversity.
With each thunderous dunk and electrifying play, the Huskies cemented their status as champions, their victory a crowning achievement in their storied history. And as they hoisted the championship trophy aloft, it was not just a moment of triumph; it was a celebration of the relentless pursuit of excellence—a testament to the unwavering resolve of a team destined for greatness.
Personal
Good news: I got approved for disability. Bad news: I’m not sure how I feel about that. Does it mean that I’m giving up? I grew up negatively viewing people receiving disability payments. That’s wrong and I have to move past my upbringing.
